Ground2Sky Gold
A Romanian discovery that could transform the future of the planet
The modern world is facing profound challenges: industrial pollution, depleted resources, social instability, and communities affected by cyanide-based mining. In Romania, two tragedies have deeply shaped the direction of scientific research:
-
Certej (1971/1972) – a dam failure, with loss of life and widespread destruction.
-
Baia Mare (2000) – the largest cyanide spill in modern European history.
These events led to the launch of a 10-year research program at a pilot station, during which more than 10,000 kg of samples were processed:
-
refractory pyritic gold–silver concentrates;
-
flotation tailings;
-
metallurgical slags;
-
siliceous gold ores.
The result: OSIM Patent No. 126480 – a fully ecological technology for the extraction of gold and silver, without cyanide, using sodium thiosulfate and copper-based catalysts.
Our invention
The invention is patented in the United States and Canada and is also registered with WIPO in Geneva.
The researchers have granted exclusive trust to the company Ground2Sky Gold for the global representation and responsible, ethical implementation of the technology.
This is the first technology capable of transforming mining waste into a resource, without tailings ponds, without dams, and without ecological risk.
It may be the most important Romanian invention for the health of the planet in recent decades.
